The Biz is a directory built to help people discover and support Black-owned businesses across the country. Whether you're searching for a nail salon in Las Vegas, a therapist in Atlanta, a fitness coach in Houston, or a restaurant in New York City, The Biz makes it easy to find great businesses by location, industry, and the services or insurance plans they accept. Our goal is simple: keep dollars circulating within the community and make it effortless to support Black entrepreneurs wherever you are.

The Biz is for everyone. Customers use it to find trusted, reviewed businesses near them and to save favorites into collections. Business owners use it to claim a free profile, share photos, post events and deals, offer coupons, accept reservations, and connect with new customers. Reviewers contribute honest feedback with photos so others can shop with confidence. Anyone can add a business — no account required.

The Biz is built and maintained by an independent team passionate about economic empowerment and visibility for Black-owned enterprises. We curate listings from public directories and invite owners to claim and manage their profiles for free. Paid upgrades like featured placement are optional, never required. We believe representation, discoverability, and community support should be accessible to every business — and that starts with a directory you can trust.
